Engineering Council is a union of engineering societies and committees, dedicated to enriching the Illinois undergraduate student experience by providing leadership and extracurricular opportunities that encourage academic, professional, and personal growth.

    Engineering Council is comprised of 12 committees, made up of over 100 members from an array of diverse majors. From planning the Career Fairs to Engineering Open House, our committees work with the sole purpose of bettering the student experience at Illinois.

    EC was created with the mission of uniting the College of Engineering. We stand by that mission with the support of our affiliated societies. With 90+ student organizations, our network helps make one of the largest schools in the nation feel a little bit smaller.
